Sr Acquisition/Systems Engineering Support Staffmember

Description:

The person will support the customer program office. The Program office is preparing to enter the flight test portion of a major Engineering Change Proposal to an ACAT IC program. This effort will require significant acquisition and systems/flight test engineering support. Additionally, the office is preparing for a milestone decision on a new start acquisition program. The program office is looking for 12 months of support to assist the program office during this critical phase. The selected person(s) will assist the program office in generating the appropriate Systems Engineering (SE) documentation, flight test documentation, and production cut-in considerations. Provide direct support to the government test lead in generating the Flight Readiness and Mission Readiness review documentation and checklist management, associated SE documentation management, and scheduling to ensure that the program office successfully completes developmental test of the ECP modification. Develop an Integrated Master Schedule for both efforts. Coordinate with applicable stakeholders and action officers to establish tasks to program office leadership regarding progress on planned start / complete dates to ensure timely and detailed progress to meet program milestone events. Assist the program office with the upcoming milestone for the new start program. Assist program office with briefing preparation and review and participation in pre-briefings / briefings to various government stakeholders. Provide support to government IPT leads with the development, test, integration, and production insertion of modifications. This may include direct liaison with prime contractor, fleet logistics, systems engineering, test and program management to establish a cohesive program strategy. The appropriate candidate will have 15+ years of relevant program management/systems engineering experience.

Financial/Program Analyst

Avionics Engineer

Description:

Junior level avionics engineer to support its NAVAIR customer in Lexington Park, Maryland. This engineer will provide engineering expertise and support to the F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA265) in support of aircraft integration of the Next Generation Jammer weapons system. Will be responsible for conducting systems engineering, system integration, and technical support activities to the Next Generation Jammer integration team. The candidate will apply DoD/DoN systems engineering best practices to a critically important program within Naval Aviation Systems Command.
